## Why it matters

Launched on the same day as PDPC but lacking binding force, continuing the AI Verify approach, showing Singapore's generative AI governance still chooses a voluntary framework over legislation

## Summary

IMDA proposes a Chatbot Information Card disclosing purpose, limitations, data handling and recourse in one place, replacing information currently scattered across terms of service and privacy notices and pitched either too simply or too technically for ordinary users.
